Atlantic Water Gardens BF1000 Filterfalls are up-flow filters. Water flows from the pump through the bulkhead fitting into the swirl chamber at the bottom of the filter enclosure; then through the grate and filter mat where solids are removed. Lastly, through the filter material, and out over the spillway.

The BF1000 has a Max flow rate of 3000 GPH. The container capacity is 8 gallons, and measures 19 inches L x 15 inches W x 14 3/4 inches H, with a 14 inch spillway.

The waterfall filter is ruggedly built out of High Molecular Weight Polyethylene.

Includes: 1 1/2 inch Bulkhead, Grate, Media Bag for adding additional material, and Filter Mat.
